The Bridge Open House
The Bridge, a GLBT community center in Glens Falls, hosts their Open House this Saturday, Feb. 6th at 2pm
Local author talk: the life and career of Harvey Milk
February 17, 3:30 pm
Miller Auditorium, Dearlove Hall, Adirondack Community College, Queensbury, NY. ACC English Professor and local author (young adult fiction) Peter Marino will present a talk on the life and career of Harvey Milk. Free admission, question and answer session follows. Milk was the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California. He and San Francisco mayor George Moscone were assassinated in November 1978.
Marino is the author of acclaimed young adult novels “Dough Boy”and “Magic and Misery” and has a third in the works. For information on this program, call Joyce Miller at 743-2200, extension 2485.

Schenectady Gender Alternative - Monthly Get Together
When: 3rd Saturday, each month, 7 pm - 12 am

What: Social gathering of transgender people, friends and supporters. Everyone is welcome, and is free to dress in the gender of their preference.

About TNGA - The Northeast Gender Alliance:
A Yahoo Group formed to promote unity for crossdressers, transsexuals, FTM, MTF and anyone who identifies as TG and who live in the general Capital Region.
